The fashion industry has implicit psychology behind clothing such as concepts of femininity and masculinity, effects on one's mental wellbeing with clothing, a deeper meaning of attire in cultures and religions, and fashion being a means of expression to your story of you. Even with a large wonderful world of fashion, there are still major flaws in the industry such as negative comments on social media which results in a lack of self-esteem and lack of self-expression along with little inclusion of all bodies and all people which results in destructive eating disorder communities, increase in photoshopping, limits to size variety, and lack of diversity. If these changes in the fashion industry do not become a reality, the previous ways will become outdated and not adjust to the evolving society we live in. All people that have a passion for fashion should be able to feel accepted in a positive fashion community to find their sense of style and confidence in showing off their outfits and themselves as well. There is such a complex endeavor in who all an individual is and because of this one should have a clear design and intentions on who one is and who one wants to express to the world with fashion and personal branding In enacting this endeavor there needs to be a clear journey of knowledge, an enthralled in positive style communities, self-reflection, and enactment and expression of said fashion goals.
